Learn Basic French - If Joey Can Try Learning French, Why Can't You?
“Je m’appelle Claude.”
“Je de coup Clow.”
“Well, let’s just try it again.”
“Je m’appelle Claude.”
“Je depli blue.”
“Huh, it’s not .. quite what I’m saying.”
Hahaha! Didn't we all crack up every time Joey tried to learn French?
Good times.
But, today, we are here to talk about you.
If you’re a slow learner in French like Joey, my sincerest apologies. The language can seem tough.
It is true for most of us monolingual people that whenever we come across someone speaking in French, we’re automatically attracted to them.
While that might be the case with every foreign language, there’s just something about the French language that is so romantic to hear that you just feel like standing under the Eiffel Tower and taking your vows.
French is one of the most beautiful languages. They say it is the language of love. Mon amour, c’est. (PS. That means “My love, it is.”)
It is the official language in 29 different countries across five different continents. Recent polls say that French is spoken by approximately 235 million fluent speakers. The chances of finding one of them and getting them to marry you are pretty great.
However, that's possible only if you know how to speak French too. Otherwise, it's just going to be many awkward dinners with a huge language barrier.
Here's My Story..
During school, we had a foreign language program wherein I chose French. In all honesty that did not turn out quite great for me in the first few semesters.
I did pick up though and now I can speak French fluently. This one time, a native speaker told me my French was great which was pretty much all the acknowledgment I needed after failing miserably in those first few semesters.
Trust me, the first few semesters were tough. I knew to say 'Bonjour', which mean Hello, but I didn't know how to say 'Goodbye'. But look where I am today, I can hold a French conversation with French people, and hey, with the right accent too.
"Hey, I'm really committed to learning French but I don’t want to go through all the trouble of joining a rigorous class, so what else is the best way to learn French?"

Our website is the perfect place to learn French. We teach various courses in International language, French is the most popular one among them.
To encourage you and get you committed to the program, I’m going to list out a few reasons why learning French is not that difficult.
A significant portion of the lexicon and the alphabets are common between French and English. So if you’re a native English speaker or simply fluent and well versed with the English language then your job is halfway done.
Additionally, despite English not being a phonetic language, millions around the world speak English without much assistance. Similarly, French might not be as difficult as you think. It is definitely daunting to commit to a new language but that should not deny you from the pleasures of being multilingual.
Studies also indicate that learning a new language helps brain development. The studies say that young adults performed better on attention tests and displayed improved concentration skills. So why wait to be bilingual? Learn French right away.
Culture. One of the most significant benefits of learning any new language is learning about a whole new culture.
Fun fact: The word culture itself has its origin in the French language. The French culture exudes romance, passion, fashion, and sophisticated people. The French cuisine is rich with varied tastes and wine pairings with the cuisine are absolutely delectable. In contrast with stereotypical beliefs, the French are definitely not rude and do not look down upon others.

To end the article and hopefully leave you inspired to learn French, I will end the article on the following note:
“Petit a petit, l’oiseau fait son nid.”
The aforementioned is a common French proverb which means “Little by little the bird makes its nest.” Only by smaller steps can you learn the language.
When learning any new language patience and determination are the two most important virtues with which you can accomplish anything you put your mind on.
